First time? Get an API key and connect in 3 steps

1. Create an API key on your provider’s official platform. API usage is billed separately from chat subscriptions.

2. Copy the API URL and exact model ID, then paste the key only into the API key field.
DeepSeek example: OpenAI-compatible (Chat Completions), API URL https://api.deepseek.com, model deepseek-flash. For other providers, use their own settings; do not mix keys, regions or plans.
3. Test the connection, then Save changes. Testing sends a small paid API request. Direct browser access also requires CORS support.

Your connection stays in this browser's local storage when Remember is enabled, not in workspace files or conversations. In Direct mode your key is sent only to your selected API; Relay mode passes it through your own relay. Installed WASM plugins cannot access connection settings or browser storage directly.

Maximum output tokens

This is a per-response ceiling, not a target. Reasoning and tool arguments consume output tokens; input and output still share the context limit.

Download our opt-in CORS helper. Ordinary mode changes response headers for one tab and the exact API URL; it cannot fix rejected OPTIONS, authentication or TLS failures.

Chrome / Edge: OPTIONS 401/403/405 can use the separately confirmed Preflight repair mode. Requires debugger permission; real API authentication is unchanged.

Chrome / Edge: unzip, open chrome://extensions or edge://extensions, enable Developer mode, then Load unpacked.
Firefox: about:debugging, This Firefox, Load Temporary Add-on. Unsigned packages last until restart.
Safari: ZIP is source, not an installer. Convert and build with Xcode, then enable the containing app extension. See README in the ZIP. iPhone requires a signed containing app.
Save API settings, open the extension, click Start, and confirm. The button becomes Stop. Keep Direct selected and retry manually. It reads only the public API URL from the page.

Remember credentials on this device

Saved keys are readable by scripts on this origin. Do not remember credentials on shared devices.

Test sends a small model request and may incur a charge. Reload never tests or sends automatically.

Saved locally

Workspace files, conversations, tabs, drafts and reading position are saved on this device. Interrupted requests and approvals are never replayed after reload.

OPFS stores files; IndexedDB stores conversations.

No task round limit. Runs until the model finishes, you stop it, or an error occurs. Keep this page foregrounded; provider and browser limits still apply.

Site-data clearing or storage eviction can delete data. ZIP backs up files, not conversations. A sudden termination may lose the last unsaved display fragment.

Install / offline use

On iPhone, open in Safari, Share → Add to Home Screen. Open once online to cache. AI still needs the network; files and ZIP work offline. Keep this app foregrounded during generation.

Theme

Theme changes apply immediately and are saved separately from API credentials. Previewed websites keep their own styles.

Language

Task and model text retain their original language.

Danger zone

Clear all saved API keys and relay tokens. Files and conversation history are retained.
